This sweet couple is one to be admired, in so many ways. We wish them many more years together here, and then e-t-e-r-n-i-t-y! May your celebration be a wonderful, joyous occasion!
We're so happy for you two wonderful people and choice friends! We send our sincere congratulations and wishes for many more happy years together. We celebrate our golden anniversary last October.
How very blessed we were to have you two serve with us in the Kenya Nairobi Mission! Both of you are faithful, dutiful, loyal and hard-working, and we learned and were motivated by your example. The mission office ran so very effectively, thanks to you two and your tireless and efficient work. Embracing four countries, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Ethiopia,it was the largest proselyting mission in the Church, requiring continual travel on our part. You were always on top of finances, office management, getting visas, arranging flights and numerous other requirements, and we never had to worry about any of the numerous details which were required for us to travel. You are both happy and positive people, kind and patient with not only my ways, but with everyone who came through the office, including the young missionaries. I appreciated your sense of humor and willingness to laugh, even with some trying circumstances. When Carol and I returned to Kenya for a visit in 2004, you graciously and hospitably shared your apartment with us, often feeding us and just being the dear friends that you are.
I've enjoyed staying in touch with you in "cyber space," sharing countless informative and entertaining e-mail messages
By the way, we're returning once again to Africa, that we love, leaving on 22 June 08 to serve in Tanzania, overseeing a humanitarian project, Measles Immunization. This one will be for only three months, but we will not return until 10 September and will therefore miss your exciting event. We'll try to stay in touch with e-mail, though.
Know that we love and appreciate you both, commending you for your noble lives and thanking you for your many kindnesses and our friendship which we cherish.
Congratulations to a couple who have shared 50 years of a wonderful life together. We are lucky to have you as such wonderful mentors to follow. Thanks and best wishes now and always!
We have wonderful memories of serving with you in the Kenya, Nairobi mission. Even though we served in Uganda, we still enjoyed associating with you at the mission conferences. Congratulations on your 50th anniversary, and may you have many more years of happiness together.
I just love Sister Gibbons... Each week I hoped she would share more of her mission in Relief Society. And Brother Gibbons always has the most friendly, calm countenance... They are a great example to us in our ward and then I was the lucky one to have Sister Gibbons as my visiting teacher. I felt loved and important...THANK YOU!! It was a treat for me. I wish them the best on their summer jaunt... and look forward to their return when it cools off.
Hi Claude and Diane. We are sorry we will miss your celebration. Our thoughts will be with you and the family. We enjoyed getting to know both of you and look forward to seeing you in Mesa when we get back. We enjoyed so much the fireside at your home and seeing the pictures and things you brought from your missions. We send our love. Jerry and Kitty Gowen.
It was so fun to see you in Salt Lake City a few months ago. It had been too long since we spent time together. We need to get together more often.
Congratulations on the wonderful event celebrating your 50th anniversary. Can't believe the time has gone so quickly. Boyd and Claude were best friends growing up and had so many great times together - so many wonderful memories.
You are a special couple and we count you amoung our choice friends. You are a wonderful example, not only to your family, but to your many friends as well.
It will 20 years in November that I meet Diane in Logan. It was a great experience for me to meet her. I then became very quickly part of this great family. I love them all. Thanks for the years fo friendship. It has been some time since we have seen everyone. We loved your letters home from your missions. it was so neat to hear all your experiences. We loved reading them each week. We wish we could have come up. We really wanted to show up but time and money was a factor. We do love you all and wish you 50 more years together. Thanks for being such good examples to us and our family. Our girls still talk about Joleen driving the 3 wheeler through the fire pit at the farm. How cute Collin was, the days we stayed at grandpa's house for the Martin Harris pagenant. Great memories. Thanks for all your love. Mark and Colette Kremin
