Mom and Dad have served two missions in Kenya, celebrating many events (including wedding anniversarys) there. We missed them, but they had a wonderful time, and we were blessed by their sacrifice and example.

Congratulations on celebrating your 50th wedding anniversary. We are so happy for you. We appreciate your friendship. You have been so good to us. We are grateful for your hosptiality in Kenya. Your opened up your flat to us and treated us like family. Thanks also for inviting us to stay with you in Clarkston last year during the Marin Harris production. We feel blessed to have you as friends. I love the way you keep us in touch with what is going on. You were so special to us on our African missison always keeping us touch, when we felt isolated.
We love you, and wish the best for the next 50 years.
We wish we could be there to help you celebrate. Maybe next year. We will be home in August, 2009.
